Location

Residencial Vale Formoso is located in a central area of Porto city, so you´ll have no difficulty on finding any touristic attraction in a blink of an eye.

It only takes you two minutes walking to find bus stops that can take you to the historical centre (5minutes at the most). Or you can choose to take the subway in “Marquês” station that distances only 900m from Residencial Vale Formoso.

Regardless of how you get to Porto city, finding Residencial Vale Formoso is super easy.

Airport

You can take the subway from the airport, rent a car or call for a taxi (about 20€).

By Subway

1.º Once you´re in the airport take the subway (line "E" - Violet) to “Trindade” station

2.º Here you´ll have to change to line D (Yellow) until you get to “Marquês” station

3.º Leave the station and follow your course through Rua da Constituição (traffic way)

4.º Turn right to Rua Antero de Quental, and keep following until Rua Capitão Pombeiro

By Car

1.º Take A28 straight to Porto city and exit in “Porto – Ponte do Freixo"

2.º Continue straight forward on IC23/VCI until you find “Amial” exit

3.º After exiting the freeway turn right (Rua do Amial) and go straight forward

4.º Turn right in Rua S. Dinis and then left and you´re at Rua Capitão Pombeiro

Train (Porto-Campanhã station)

1.º At station, follow on any subway line to "Trindade"

2.º At "Trindade" station you´ll have to change to line D (Yellow) until you get to “Marquês” station

3.º Leave the station and follow your course through Rua da Constituição (traffic way)

4.º Turn right to Rua Antero de Quental, and keep following until Rua Capitão Pombeiro

Car (from North, Galiza...)

1.º Take A3 straight to Porto city and exit in “VCI / Porto-Boavista / Gaia-Arrábida”

2.º Continue straight forward on IC23/VCI until you find “Amial” exit

3.º After exiting the freeway turn left (Rua do Amial) and go straight forward

4.º Turn right in Rua S. Dinis and then left and you´re at Rua Capitão Pombeiro

Car (from south, Lisbon...)

1.º .Take A1 highway to Ponte do Freixo

2.º Continue straight forward and you´ll get to IC23/VCI until you find “Amial” exit

3.º After exiting the freeway turn left (Rua do Amial) and go straight forward

4.º Turn right in Rua S. Dinis and then left and you´re at Rua Capitão Pombeiro
